Detailed description
We provide the hands-on practice training courses to equip the learners with essential knowledge and skill sets as a quality engineer. Two modules are currently offered: (1) 3-days hands-on training courses on temperature, pressure, flow rate measurements & analysis, as well as the logic control of flow rate and actuators. (2) 1-day hands-on training course is mainly for the later stage concept of system integration.
1. Course objective
The Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR)
requires technical and engineering skills towards automatic measurement,
control and system integration. As a consequence, this 5-day hands-on training workshop will offer you the actual practice to read wiring diagrams of
different sensors, connecting the sensors physically to the NI data
acquisition (DAQ) modules, controlling the sequence and eventually
realizing the automatic measurements & control. After completion,
the delegates will gain the following skills:
- Be able to understand the real-world measurements and controls.
- Be able to select suitable sensors, NI DAQ modules and wiring cables.
- Be able to read and understand the wiring diagram of different sensors.
- Be able to connect typical sensors to NI DAQ modules.
- Be able to develop basic Labview programme for measurements and controls.
- Be able to understand system integration.
2. Course presenter
Our technical specialists with over 15 years field experience
for different measurements and logic controls will be the course presenters.
3. Who should attend?
Technicians and engineers in any industry, academia or research entity
as well as postgraduates from universities who are willing to acquire
new knowledge and skills-sets to build-up automatic measurements &
controls. A set of practical assignments will be offered to the
delegates throughout the workshop and eventually enables them to
build-up their own setups in their work places. The workshop will also
communicate on how to register with ECSA as Professional Engineers,
Technologists and Technicians.
